Forty-Fifth Construction Update
Welcome to our latest construction update!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, this update is coming to you a bit later than usual. This is the first time we’ve missed our fortnightly schedule since we started construction. We’ve found that providing updates every two weeks is more challenging than we initially anticipated.
The past three weeks have been a roller coaster, largely due to events discussed in our previous update (be sure to read it if you haven’t already). We’re pleased to report that everything is now back on track, although we’ve experienced a more significant delay than expected due to labor shortages. When construction pauses, it can take time to get workers back on site, as the booming construction market in the region means laborers quickly move on to other projects. Although we currently have over 50 people on-site, we are still looking to increase our workforce. The good news is that work is progressing, and we’re gaining momentum daily.
As for the upcoming holiday season, the construction site will only be closed on December 25th and January 1st. This limited downtime will help maintain the momentum as we move into the new year.
Currently, we’re focusing on both the building’s interior and exterior. We’ve also hired external auditors for inspections of structural, electrical, and plumbing. Since we’re entering the final stages of construction, ensuring everything is in proper working order is critical. While we trust our construction team, having a second set of eyes helps guarantee the highest quality.
With the current workforce, we’re progressing on the basement ramp, interior apartment finishes, masonry work, the building facade, and side structures. Apartment fit-outs, along with electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning installations, are also underway. Our showroom is also taking shape—those in Playa will be able to get a glimpse of a completed Loft apartment before the end of the year.
Lastly, some kitchens that were supposed to arrive on December 6th are now scheduled to reach Veracruz on December 20th, with installations expected to begin in early January.

As always, it’s been a pleasure to bring you this update, and we look forward to the next one on the new moon in a few weeks.
With love,
Luna Residences Team
