Thirty-fifth Construction Update

Welcome to our latest construction update brought to you by hurricane Beryl!

Over the past few weeks, we successfully completed the slab on the 5th floor at the front of the building and are catching up to the 6th floor. The final floor is now being prepared for the last concrete slab pouring.

This week, however, has been dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our site in anticipation of the hurricane that is arriving today. Our team cleaned the construction site on all floors, secured everything we could and placed protection on the glass doors that were recently installed in our studio apartments.

Did you know?

The word “hurricane” comes from “Huracan,” the name of a storm god of the Taino people of the Caribbean? This indigenous word was adopted by Spanish explorers and has been used ever since to describe these powerful tropical cyclones.

As always, it’s been a pleasure to bring you this update, and we look forward to the next one on the full moon in a few weeks.

With love,
Luna Residences Team
