Seventeenth Construction Update

Welcome to the latest Luna Residences construction update.

Today is a special day with the new moon solar eclipse. Solar eclipses always happen at new moons, and they’re considered super-powered new beginnings! We hope you got a chance to see the eclipse today, as it was absolutely incredible!

We’ve made good progress over the last two weeks. Our team has reinforced walls and laid bricks throughout the structure. We’ve also finished the shim for the first level slab, covering the mezzanine. Our blacksmiths, carpenters, and builders have worked together to prepare everything for pouring the concrete slab for the studios. All walls, including the elevator shaft, are now completed up to the first level of the studios. We’re set to pour the slab for Level 1 next week, marking the start of construction for the studio apartments.

Did you know?

Corn, also known as maize, has deep roots in Mexico. Originating here over 9,000 years ago, it was domesticated from a wild grass called teosinte by ancient Mesoamericans. Corn plays a spiritual role in many indigenous Mexican cultures. In various myths and legends, humans were believed to be created from maize. This sacred connection between corn and life is celebrated in ceremonies, rituals, and festivals throughout the year, reinforcing corn’s status as not just sustenance but also a symbol of life and creation.

As always, it’s been a pleasure to bring you this update, and we look forward to the next one on the full moon in a few weeks.

With love,
Luna Residences Team
