Sixteenth Construction Update

Welcome to the latest construction update of Luna Residences brought to you by today’s Harvest Full Moon.

As always, we have plenty to share!

Over the past few weeks, our primary focus has been developing the lofts and the coworking area. We dedicated significant efforts to strengthen the concrete and block walls on the mezzanine level. This involved the installation of joists and vaults, as well as the completion of all load-bearing walls.

Furthermore, we’ve successfully completed the casting of slabs at the loft mezzanine and coworking areas, providing a solid foundation for this level. The shoring of access walls has also been finished, ensuring the structural stability necessary for the subsequent construction phases.

Our commitment to quality included conducting a successful structural review, which is vital to the project’s success. These reviews help us maintain the highest construction standards as we move forward.

Looking ahead, we anticipate seeing the first-floor slab installed and commencing construction on the four studios in the coming weeks.

Did you know?

Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, is home to El Castillo, or the Temple of Kukulcan. This pyramid serves as a physical representation of the Mayan calendar. Each of the four staircases has 91 steps, and when combined with the single step at the entrance to the temple, they total 365 steps, equivalent to the number of days in a year. Additionally, during the spring and autumn equinoxes, the setting sun casts shadows on the pyramid, creating the illusion of a serpent descending its stairs, symbolizing the feathered serpent god, Kukulcan, visiting the earth.

As always, it’s been a pleasure to bring you this update, and we look forward to the next one on the new moon in a few weeks.

With love,
Luna Residences Team
