Fifteenth Construction Update

Welcome to the latest construction update of LUNA Residences!

Another two weeks, another moon phase in the sky! Today, the new moon brings the latest construction update, and as always, we are excited to share the progress with you.

During the last update, we discussed the ground-level slab’s completion. This time, after we have removed slab shoring, we have advanced on the concrete pouring and construction of walls for ground-level lofts, elevator, stairs, and reception areas. Electrical and plumbing works have been ongoing, with ground level installations in place, and preparations for the mezzanine are underway. We’ve also reviewed elevator mechanical guidelines with our supplier. Did you know our elevator is coming all the way from Germany?

Over the next few weeks, we look forward to continuing the momentum on the ground level with more concrete pouring for the wall structure.

Did you know?

Izamal, often dubbed “La Ciudad Amarilla” or “The Yellow City,” is renowned for its eye-catching colonial edifices and ancient Mayan ruins, all adorned in a unique yellow shade. This radiant color graces everything from the Convento de San Antonio de Padua’s walls to the residences and stores throughout the town. The choice of yellow is believed to symbolize the sun, honoring the Mayan sun god, Kinich Ahau. Additionally, Izamal is celebrated as the “City of Three Cultures” for its harmonious blend of its pre-Hispanic heritage, the colonial era, and modern times.

As always, it’s been a pleasure to bring you this update, and we look forward to the next one on the full moon in a few weeks.

With love,
Luna Residences Team
