Fourteenth Construction Update

Welcome to the latest construction update of LUNA Residences!

The extremely rare “Blue Supermoon” will appear tonight in the sky. The second Full Moon of August will be the brightest and largest moon of the year. This massive, powerful event amplifies the growth of knowledge & wisdom and turbocharges the manifestation of our goals; and will not occur again until 2037, making this the last chance to witness one this decade.

As the super moon graces the night sky, the journey forward continues to be remarkable, and we’re excited to share our recent accomplishments and plans for the upcoming weeks.

Despite the weather-related challenges, our team has achieved an exciting feat over the past fortnight: 100% of the ground-level slab is now in place! It is an overwhelmingly good feeling to step foot on the ground level of what is to be an iconic building in Playa del Carmen. Our focus now shifts to constructing the building’s ground level, beginning with structural work for the walls. As we embark on this vertical construction journey, step by step, we’re energized by the progress achieved thus far.

Did you know?

Mexico boasts an exceptional biodiversity that extends far beyond its land. The country’s coastlines and waters are home to a stunning marine spectacle known as the “Vaquita Marina,” or simply the “Vaquita.” This rare and diminutive marine mammal is the world’s smallest and most endangered porpoise species.

The vaquita’s name translates to “little cow” in Spanish, owing to its petite size and tendency to surface in a manner reminiscent of a small cow’s nose. Tragically, illegal fishing activities have critically threatened the vaquita population, leading to their rapid decline. Conservation efforts are in place to protect this precious species and its habitat, highlighting the ongoing need for marine preservation and environmental awareness.

As we reflect on the unique treasures of Mexico’s natural world, we’re reminded of the importance of safeguarding our planet’s remarkable biodiversity.

Stay tuned for more updates, as we’re excited to continue this journey together.

With love,
Luna Residences Team
