Ninth Construction Update
As a captivating new moon graces the sky, casting its enchanting glow upon us, we are thrilled to share the latest construction update for Luna Residences.
Let’s dive into the recent developments:
We are pleased to inform you that we have completed the assembly of rebars and steel for the columns and surrounding walls of the cistern in the basement. In addition, we have successfully cut all the excess rock and leveled the sides of the back of the property. This puts us on track for the upcoming concrete pouring for the cistern over the next few weeks. Meanwhile, we are diligently preparing the other sides of the basement for the different stages of concrete pouring.

In addition to the progress on the construction front, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who generously contributed to the Pawsitive Impact food-raising campaign. Your support has been instrumental in making a difference in the lives of countless furry friends. Together, we have raised an incredible 600kg (1300 lbs) of food and donated to two shelters in Playa del Carmen.
A special thank you goes to Xiomara for making this campaign happen and for her remarkable initiative and dedication in coordinating with the shelters in dire need of support.

Did you know?
The name “Mexico” originates in the Aztec language of Nahuatl. It comes from the word “Mexihco,” which the indigenous Mexica people used to refer to their capital city, Tenochtitlán, which later became Mexico City.
The exact meaning of “Mexihco” is still a subject of debate. One interpretation suggests that it comes from combining two Nahuatl words: “metztli,” meaning moon, and “xictli,” meaning navel or center. Therefore, “Mexihco” could be understood as “the place at the center of the moon” or “the navel of the moon.” This symbolism reflects the importance of the city of Tenochtitlán as the political, economic, and cultural center of the Aztec Empire.
When the Spanish arrived in the 16th century and began colonizing the region, they adopted the name “Mexico” for the entire territory under their control. Eventually, the name extended beyond the capital city and encompassed the country we now know as Mexico.

As we progress in this lunar cycle, we eagerly anticipate sharing more exciting updates and news during the next full moon. May the energy of this new moon ignite your spirit and fill your days with inspiration.
With love,
